Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 can (5 oz or 2/3 cup) evaporated milk
Directions:
In a small heavy saucepan, melt the chocolate and butter together. Add the sugar. Gradually stir in the evaporated milk. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat. Boil gently over low heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove pan from heat and cool slightly. Serve warm over ice cream. (Can be covered and refrigerated for storage.)
Option: To prepare peanut butter fudge sauce, stir in 1/4 cup peanut butter after boiling 3-5 min.
